17 April 2008 : Today I proudly present Model Maniac Page 42 - Part B which is the third page for this month, and the
fourth one will soon follow suit. In this Part I introduce "Tazmanian" - new name but old face modeler - who's a fast builder
and capable of building all types of models. He built 5 pieces of models - Land, Air and Sea - for this special inauguration.
Starting from Land Rover 109 Series III 1:35 from Revell, followed by AH-6J "Little Bird" 1:35 from Dragon and MDD A-4 E/F
"Sky Hawk" 1:48 from you guess who, and ending with Typhoon Class Russian Nuclear Powered Submarine 1:350 from Alanger and
USS Gato SS-212 1941 1:144 from Trumpeter.
Same as the last two dozen Parts, all pictures in this Part were taken using "time exposure" technique so as to achieve highest depth of field, i.e., using a tripod, setting shutter priority and selecting shutter speed that gives the highest f-stop (f19-f22) which is usually around 1/4 - 1 second, and setting self timer for shutter release. Lighting is natural, pictures were taken outdoor under the shades during daytime. Pictures were scanned from film by the photo shop, written on to a CD and resized by me. As always, I hope you'll enjoy viewing!
I'd like to thank for all kind feedbacks, compliments and suggestions that we received concerning Page 41 - Part A. They are very encouraging, and they inspire us to keep on producing quality models and dioramas and showing finest quality pictures. Comments and suggestions are welcome in my Model Maniac Forum
