2 March 2009 : Today I proudly present Model Maniac Page 46 - Part B. In this Part "Art Instructor" presents 4 new armors and two new dioramas. Starting from MT-LB w/ Equipment for selfdigging around from UM and BTR-152E from SKIF, followed by M-38A1 from AFV Club and M13/40 from Italeri, then topping it off with Diorama "The Jagdpazer IV" and Diorama "Letting of Steam".
And same as the last three dozen Parts, all pictures in this Part were taken using "time exposure" technique so as to achieve highest depth of field, i.e., using a tripod, setting shutter priority and selecting shutter speed that gives the highest f-stop (f19-f22) which is usually around 1/4 - 1 second, and setting self timer for shutter release. Lighting is natural, pictures were taken outdoor under the shades during daytime. Pictures were scanned from film by the photo shop, written on to a CD and resized by me. As always, I hope you'll enjoy viewing!
I'd like to thank for all kind feedbacks, compliments and suggestions that we received concerning Page 46 - Part A. They are very encouraging, and they inspire us to keep on producing quality models and dioramas and showing finest quality pictures. Comments and suggestions are welcome in my Model Maniac Forum
039 : An Overview of Page 46 - Part B (Index Print)
040 - 045 : UM's MT-LB w/ Equipment for selfdigging around
062 - 069 : Diorama "The Jagdpanzer IV" using Dragon's Jagdpanzer IV L/48 + Tri Star's German Infantry
070 - 076 : Diorama "Letting of Steam" using Master Box's German Motorcyclists. My instruction to "Art Instructor" was that if the kit doesn't provide the tool to do the job
(i.e. letting of steam) he should produce one, and that the contact point should have some splash effect. A.I. did so well that I have to censor the last two pictures. For those curious to see the uncensored pictures, use the link below at your own discretion.
