25 January 2010 : Today I proudly present Model Maniac Page 51 - Part D. In this Part, "Art Instructor" presents 4 new armors, a new figure set and a new diorama. Starting from M1126 8x8 ICV from AFV Club and M4 US Marines from Italeri, followed by German 17cm Konone 18 newly-released from Trumpeter, German Artillery Crew from Dragon (to complement the Big Gun) and German Railway Gondola (lower sides) newly-released from Trumpeter, then topping it off with Diorama "Red Army At Rest" using Tamiya's KV-1B and Mini Art's Soviet Tank Crew at rest.
And same as the last 3-4 dozen Parts, all pictures in this Part were taken using "time exposure" technique so as to achieve highest depth of field, i.e., using a tripod, setting shutter priority and selecting shutter speed that gives the highest f-stop (f19-f22) and setting self-timer for shutter release. Lighting is natural, pictures were taken outdoor under the shades during daytime. Pictures were scanned directly from film by the photo shop, written on to a CD and resized by me. As always, I hope you'll enjoy viewing!
I'd like to thank for all kind feedbacks, compliments and suggestions that we received concerning Page 51 - Part C. They are very encouraging, and they inspire us to keep on producing quality models and dioramas and showing finest quality pictures. Comments and suggestions are welcome in my Model Maniac Forum
