Sturmgeschutz IV Sd.Kfz.163 - Italeri's No. 6223 (released in 2003)
This self-propelled gun, mounting a 7.5cm casemate cannon, was built on the
chassis of the famous Pz.Kpfw.IV tank. Combat in urban areas was associated
with an ever-more urgent need for artillery equipment that could be used to
provide close infantry support. In such situations, German commanders often
valued self-propelled guns more than actual tanks. The Mark IV assault guns
were produced in several versions right up to the end of the war.
