Volkswagen Typ 87
This small car was developed during the '30 to facilitate the people's motorization in Germany with the Second World War was widely used from the German armed forces in different roles : liaison, ambulance. Due to good realability (reliability?) and a simple maintenance this vehicle (later named 'beetle') has been used on all fronts with good results. From his base during the war has been developed the full military versions Kubelwagen and the amphibious Schwimmwagen, the so called german "Jeeps".
