20 September 2010 : Today I proudly present Model Maniac Page 55 - Part D. In this Part "Art Instructor" presents 5 new armors, a new figure and a new diorama. Starting from Rolls-Royce British Armoured Car Pattern 1920 Mk.I from Roden and German MG-42 Gunner 1:16 from Dragon, followed by Einheitsdiesel Pritschenwagen (metal cargo body) from IBG, Panzerspahwagen BA-64(r) from Mini Art, German 8.8cm Anti-Tank Gun Pak43 from ARK and WWII German Motorcycle R75 (x2) from GreatWall Hobby, then topping it off with Diorama "Europe 1944" using Italeri's Armoured Car Sd.Kfz.234/3 and Dragon's figure set
My old SLR Camera - the Canon T-70 w/ 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 Zoom Lenses failed to function today
(its shutter would not release whether self-timered or manually pressed), leaving me in disarray for a while. Maybe it's time to switch to digital cameras. It's getting harder getting negative films developed these days and now it takes two days instead of a few hours for the process. Earlier this month I just bought a digital camera, a cheap one. It's GE A1250 12.2 Megapixels with 5x Optical Zoom Lenses 6.3-31.5mm f3.0-4.7 (35-175mm 35mm film equivalent) that I use for this page as an experiment in this transition period. As usual, lighting is natural. All pictures were taken outdoor during daytime under the shades on a tripod. All exposures were automatic, picture quality may be not as good as before. But I compensate that by quantity. Instead of 38 pictures per Part, now you get to see 60. Only one of these had been cropped, all the rest are shown as taken - uncropped and unretouched.
I'd like to thank for all kind feedbacks, compliments and suggestions that we received concerning Page 55 - Part C. They are very encouraging, and they inspire us to keep on producing quality models and dioramas and showing finest quality pictures. Comments and suggestions are welcome in my Model Maniac Forum
